After a chilly winter engagement session (pre-pandemic), a sunny lakeside summer wedding was absolutely perfect for this beautiful couple. Dionne + Marcus were married at the bride's parents cabin, in a small intimate ceremony, surrounded by their closest family + friends this past June. So much love and care was taken in preparation for the wedding day + it was obvious in all the small details the couple created.
I began my morning photographing all the details + hanging out with the groom + his guys. Lots of joking around + laughs! The ladies arrived at the lake shortly before the ceremony to finish getting ready. The bride + her parents shared sweet moments, as she presented them each with a little gift. I really enjoyed the first look she did with her dad - it was truly special!
The ceremony took place overlooking Last Mountain Lake. The night before we had torrential downpour + tornado warnings, but the sky was perfectly clouded over with no raindrops in sight for the afternoon. After the ceremony, we headed off for photos! I couldn't have asked for a wedding couple + party more full of fun + life! They made this time of the day so enjoyable. Dionne + Marcus looked amazing + so in love! The entire day was an absolute pleasure to be a part of! Thank you for choosing me to help celebrate your wedding day!
