This wedding day was so amazing! Although not everything went 100% to plan, l+a rolled with every punch, including a torrential downpour - nothing could (metaphorically) dampen their spirits!

I began my day with Laura and her ladies as they got ready at her parents farm. I was able to meet her and Adam's adorable corgi, Winston and include him a bit. I could tell his a much loved fur child and was glad he could be a part of their wedding day! The farm also happened to be the reception site, and I got the advantage of being able to photograph the venue before anyone was in there! I love doing this! It's awesome to be able to photograph all the special details of the way a couple has envisioned their wedding day before their guests are in there, adding a purse to the table, spilling a drink, and moving around things.

After Laura was buttoned up into her wedding gown, we headed to St. Andrew's United Church for the ceremony. To be honest, a dark church is an intimidating place to be for a ceremony! It all worked out well, as I popped a flash on and went to work! After the ceremony we headed across the street for family photos in Cresent Park before carrying on to Wakamow for wedding party photos.

An ominous dark cloud appeared as we got off the party bus in Wakamow, and I thought it looked super cool and sent up a silent prayer to Mother Earth to hold the rain off for at least an hour so I could get photos of my stunning newlyweds under it! We had just finished photographing the big group photos when it began to downpour! Laura and Adam, not to be dismayed by the rain braved the drizzle, and we were able to photograph outside still, under a canopy of trees to shelter us! I am so grateful for their laid-back attitude and go with the flow vibe, as I have seen many panic or get upset when the weather is not cooperative.

Overall I had such a wonderful time, and I am excited to share this handful of photos from the wedding day to showcase this beautiful love story!
