K + T's Unforgettable Wedding (minus the rings 😉)

Last weekend, I had the immense pleasure of capturing the wedding of Kelsey and Ty in the charming city of Moose Jaw. The day started with both the bride and groom getting ready with their respective crews, surrounded by laughter, excitement, and the occasional nervous flutter. I arrived early to capture some detail shots and join in on the pre-wedding celebrations. One of the highlights of the morning was when Kelsey and Ty exchanged gifts. Kelsey’s gift to Ty included some spicy photos from a surprise boudoir session we had done earlier!.

Soon, it was time to head to the ceremony. There was a slight hiccup as we waited for someone (we won’t name names 😉) to retrieve the forgotten rings. As it turns out, this delay was a blessing in disguise. A relative who had travelled a great distance got a bit lost and would have missed the ceremony if it had started on time. She arrived just as the rings were retrieved, allowing her to witness the beautiful event.

The summer sun was blazing, making it one of the hottest June days yet. Despite the heat, the day was filled with genuine laughter, happy tears, and yes, a bit of sweat. The ceremony was beautiful, a true testament to Kelsey and Ty's love for each other.

After the ceremony, we gathered the wedding crew for some fun photos. They were an amazing group, always up for whatever I asked, and their laughter and smiles made the session a joy. I loved photographing this couple; their love for each other is so genuine and shines through in every shot.

The reception was a fantastic celebration, filled with dancing, toasts, and heartfelt moments. We took a break to capture a few more photos as the sun began to set, adding a perfect ending to an already magical day. Kelsey and Ty made sure to honor family members who are no longer with us. Special touches throughout the day kept the memory of Kelsey’s father present in a beautiful way. Thank you, Kelsey and Ty, for letting me be a part of your wedding celebration.
