t + k

I was fortunate enough to work with these two early on in their relationship. It was super evident at that time that there was such a strong and genuine connection between them, that it was no shock to me at all when they got engaged. It was a pleasure to witness their unique connection.

They were my "last covid wedding". Married the day before all Saskatchewan restrictions lifted. I began my day with some getting ready photos for the bride and her girls. We had a few first look moments, which are always fun for me! The reactions from your loved ones on a wedding day never disappoint.

Their ceremony was held in the beautiful Holdfast Catholic Church. I am not usually one for church weddings, and prefer outside, but let me tell you - this church! It is such a bright and beautiful building; I love photographing weddings in here!

We headed down to the Findlater Valley - the very place of this couples origin story. If you are from small town Saskatchewan, many a love story begins at the local pit party. Everyone was such a good sport, as it was +35 that day, and not a single one of them complained about the heat! We definitely sought out shelter after a bit, but I'm super glad we ended up in that valley for a few photos!

With restrictions still in place T + K sent me on my way before the reception. Knowing them, they had one fun night! I am so happy to have shared your wedding day!
