What are your rates?

My rates vary, depending on what you are here looking for! From portrait, to newborn, to weddings, they are all quite different! I hate to make you click around, but for the most up-to-date rates please see my Investment Page.

I am certainly not be the cheapest photographer out there, but when it comes to telling your story, I put a lot of work into getting it right. These are special moments of your life, and photography is worth investing in!

How do we book you?

After looking through my portfolio and my website, send me an inquiry and tell me more about yourself, and what you're looking for! It is important to look at my portfolio before reaching out, as this is what style of images you can expect (editing/posing) from a session or a wedding with me.

I’ll get in touch with you once you reach out. I’ll make sure to provide all necessary information to book in!

A non-refundable retainer fee for date reservation and a contract are needed to reserve me for your date. Whether it is a portrait session or a wedding. This is to protect both parties entering into the agreement!

What time of day will my session be?

With the exception of weddings, or very special circumstances, session will take place on a weekday, at either sunset or sunrise! If you are a morning person we can book you in to begin right at sunrise. Sunrise images are so beautiful, and if you are wanting to do your session in a busier place, I highly recommend this, as most people are not awake yet! If you are not a morning person (like 95% of my clients), sunset is my most popular session time. We begin about an hour before sunset to really capitalize on beautiful golden (not to mention flattering) light!

What should we wear?

This is probably one of the first questions I always get asked, after date/time! There is no perfect formula for what you should wear for your family, couples, or portrait session! Depending on your style, and the look you want in your photos my advice not even be valid. Head over to the ABOUT section of my menu to find a "What to Wear" guide!

How many photos do we get?

First and foremost; quality over quantity. I want you to have amazing images that tell your story, not 15 of of the same thing from the same angle. While I do overdeliver most of the time, they are never duplicate images for the sake of increasing my photo count.

Second, the amount of images I deliver really varies. For a typical session (couples, family) I always promise 30 images. For weddings I usually average around 50 images an hour, but again, each wedding is unique and I always make sure to capture plenty of photos for all the special moments moments of the day.

With the exception of my newborn packages, I also don’t cap at a certain amount of photos. You better believe I’ll deliver all the photos that will tell your story so those not present, almost sorta feel like they were!

How long before I get my photos back?

Weddings - 8 to 10 weeks

Anything Else - 4 to 6 weeks

Do you photoshop clients?

Hard no. I am 100% about celebrating who you are, as you are. I want to be as authentic as I can. If you share an insecurity with me before the session, I will be mindful of that, and try to accommodate my posing and workflow from more flattering angles. But I will not photoshop you taller, skinnier, straighter nose, etc...

I will often fix temporary minor blemishes, such as a pimple or bruise. These things are not part of your identity, and will come and go.

There are amazing photographers out there that will do this, and if that's what you are after, please inquire with them :)

Where are you based + do you travel?

I am based in south central Saskatchewan, conveniently located between Regina, Saskatoon and Moose Jaw! I shoot frequenly in the Craik Valley, which tons of my clients come to, as they love the scenery here! I also adore traveling! If you'd like your session to take place closer to home, I am down! I do charge travel fees, but we can chat about the nitty gritty details when you book!

I am also game for international travel for weddings! I have photographed in both Mexico and Iceland, and would love to follow your love story abroad!

Do you have past clients we can speak to for references?

I completley understand wanting to speak to past clients! After all hiring a photographer is sort of like conducting a job interview! First and foremost is my client confidentiality. I will not provide you with my clients contact information, as that would be a massive breach of trust and privacy. I do however have open reivews on my social media platforms, and website from past clients. If you'd like to see some of those reviews feel free to check out the "LOVE" section located in the "ABOUT" drop down menu.

Do you have an indoor studio space?

At this time, I do not have a functioning studio space. However, I am hoping to change that in the near future! A studio plan is in the works to open in the next 2-3 years, but I will also have a mini indoor space within the year to escape inclement weather!
