Your wedding day should reflect who you are as a couple, starting with where you get married! Want to get married at the lake where you spent all your childhood summers, they city you met in, a venue you vibe with, the farm you grew up on, the country you love travelling to most? Perfect. From the small details to the big wedding venue, do things how YOU want to! I cannot stress enough to my couples that they should get married how they want (and not how their mom's want).
Nature is the most romantic setting. Outdoor weddings have a special place in my heart. And no, it it's never too cold to get married outside! Wedding photos outside are hands down the most gorgeous. The wilder looking the better. Give me tall grass, lakes, wildflowers and sunsets any day!

Your experience is almost just as important as the end result. Your wedding day isn't just about getting amazing photos. It is also about how you feel throughout the day. You should enjoy your wedding day! I spend A LOT of time with my couples, so I believe connecting with your vendor is super important to help facilitate mood! It's not supposed to be perfect. But it is supposed to be right.
Get a bit of dirt on your dress, run a little behind. As long as you are married to your person and enjoying yourself, let the rest go and just be. My focus is to get images that show your connection as a couple. These moments aren't always perfect, but they are just right.
Telling the story all the way through is important. I take a storytelling approach to weddings. When you flip through the wedding album, I aim to take you back through your wedding day from beginning to end of our time together. All parts of your wedding day matter!
